It’s home to our village reception, largest social area and two study pods – all free to use facilities for residents throughout our village. The massive social area plays host to many of the village events, and its numerous seating areas, large TVs, PS4, pool table, table tennis and kitchen area, make ‘The Social’ a hugely popular venue for many students in our community.

Living in Portland Green Student Village is a great choice if you're looking for high quality rooms and flats. The location is excellent - 8 minutes to the Northumbria University, 15' to the city centre and 10' to Morrison's if you need bigger shopping. As the accommodation is close to Ouseburn there is a choice of pubs with good food.

I would recommend Portland Green to any student! Modern building and in the best location. Not to mention the bedrooms are immaculate, with a great social area always holding special events. I recommend Portland Green to anyone who is looking for halls.

I cannot thank PGSV for all the help with my daughter over the last 2 weeks whilst all this craziness of COVID 19 is going on. The reception staff have been so helpful with making my daughter feel safe and secure when we could not fly her home. The Staff cannot do enough for the residence. The maintenance guys are always on hand for emergencies. The events my daughter attends are amazing. (...) I can't thank PGSV staff enough.
