Portland green is a very nice student accommodation, that’s very lively and has lots of great events going on. The rooms are very spacious and worth the money we pay. The kitchens are really nice and a great social space for me and my flat. I would definitely recommend it to other students.

I stayed there during my undergraduate year at Northumbria University. The accommodation has full facilities such as Wi-Fi, kitchen, and laundry plus the bed is also nice. The staff are also friendly. You can also play table tennis & have a chat with friends near the new community lounge area. If you are an international student looking for student accommodation, I fully recommend Portland Green Student Village. It makes me feel like home.

Portland Green has been everything I could possibly want from a student accommodation! The rooms and the kitchen area are spacious and modern, especially considering the low price in comparison to lots of other Newcastle accommodation, and the staff are always so friendly and remember all of our faces, which just adds to the community atmosphere. I was worried that the location would be quite distant from the city centre, but it's such a nice walk that I hardly even notice it, and being near arty Ouseburn and all the lovely forest parks more than makes up for the fifteen minute walk to uni. I've absolutely loved my time here so far- I've already rebooked the same room for next year!
