From social and study rooms to galleries, museums and music venues hosting live music events every week, the University of Leeds will give you a full and rich student experience.
For your sporting needs, the state-of-the-art fitness complex, The Edge, is an emporium of sporting facilities with a 25-metre swimming pool, multiple sports courts, a huge climbing wall and a high-spec gym.
Student Union
Living at our modern University of Leeds accommodation means you’ll also be close to the Student Union.
LUU is located in the big, boxy building at the very heart of campus and is considered to be a centre of Leeds students’ social life, offering plenty of places to meet friends and hang out in between lectures.
You will find two bars here hosting events which are well-loved by clubs and societies that meet here for regular get-togethers. University of Leeds Student Union, as well as the rest of the city, is big on music, so expect to see a large calendar of gigs and a number of known artists play here throughout the year.
As a student at the University of Leeds, you’ll have access to its extensive list of 300 clubs and societies on offer. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a club, no matter how niche or obscure your interests are!
