Since 2018, Abodus Student Living has successfully provided an operating platform to investor partners by placing residents, engagement and development of communities at the heart of what we do.

Abodus Student Living manages student accommodation with a simple objective in mind, to provide exceptional services to all the student who live in our buildings and to develop and guide our teams to be the best in class.

Our team provides a wealth of experience and knowledge in the sector in both developing and operating accommodation across a national portfolio. Working in the sector since the late 1990’s, the 360o management team has decades of experience, from investment and portfolio management, to asset development  through operations and asset management.

We believe we have developed an exceptional offering to our residents, a brand which resonates with students and an approach in the market that enhances the performance of any asset we manage.

Operator

Abodus operates 12 buildings in six cities, with 3561 bed spaces throughout the UK market. We have strong partnerships with 5 universities on nominations and referral agreements, but also offer over 2,000 beds to the direct let market.

Over the last year, we have welcomed two operating portfolios and a new build scheme into the Abodus portfolio, and grown our systems, teams and operating platform to provide best in class functionality and service.

Abodus are both accredited and approved by ANUK, The Accreditation Network UK, supported by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to ensure the highest standards are maintained within privately run schemes.

This provides our partners with the reassurance that the greatest financial best practice is being followed and our students sleep easy in safe and well-maintained properties.

In 2019 we not only achieved outstanding results in the National Student Housing Survey, outperforming local PBSA and university owned accommodation and benchmarking above the UK average in student satisfaction.

Service

DESIGN

We assist to enhance the schemes deign to provide the best value and the best experience for both residents and staff.

MAINTENANCE

We plan for the scheme opening including a bespoke marketing plan, contract & supplier management, staff recruitment and ensuring the site is suitable and safe for residents to move in.

OPERATION

We will provide a full FM management service including marketing, compliance, financial management & recruitment and HR management to drive performance on NOI and occupancy, with up to date BI enhanced reporting.
